主讲人简介：

       David Cardwell教授曾担任剑桥大学战略与规划副校长，目前是超导工程教授，曾担任工程系主任。由Cardwell教授创立的剑桥大学体超导体研究小组致力于体高温超导体的加工和应用，这些超导体可用于产生非常高的磁场。包括2014年在块状超导体中创下的17.6特斯拉的世界纪录磁场。1998年，他是欧洲应用超导学会（ESAS）的创始成员，自2007年以来，一直担任该学会的理事会成员和财务主管。他是包括《超导科学与技术》在内的五本国际期刊的活跃编委会成员，并与人合著了300多篇技术论文和专利。

Brief Introduction of Professor David Cardwell

       Professor David Cardwell previously served as Vice President for Strategy and Planning at the University of Cambridge, and is currently a Professor of Superconducting Engineering, having previously served as the Head of the Engineering Department. He leads the Bulk Superconductivity research group at Cambridge on the processing and applications of bulk high temperature superconductors, which can be used to generate very high magnetic fields, including the world record magnetic field of 17.6 Tesla set in bulk superconductors in 2014. He was a founder member of the European Society of Applied Superconductivity (ESAS) in 1998 and has served as a Board member and Treasurer of the Society since 2007. He is an active board member of five international journals, including Superconductor Science and Technology, and has co-authored over 300 technical papers and patents.
